Karkinos looks like a monster but is infact an NPC due to the fact that you need to shoot them with ammunition and not harpoons.

Karinos are not always on water, it will appear 5 minutes after its sunk.

Minions

When you damage the Karkinos down to 8 million hit points, and 6 million hitpoints, it will spawn 3 Titansmasher each time.

The Karkinos doesn't offer any currency as a reward, but offers healing items as a reward for both sinking and boarding.
